About Us

Our counselors are discrete and conversations are confidential.  Initial consultations are approximately an hour in length and allow you to tell us your story of what brings you into counseling.  The second appointment takes approximately :50 minutes and will involve developing a treatment plan and beginning work on that plan to help you meet your goals. Through this process you will begin to manage and cope with your personal, social, emotional and/or spiritual issues. Time may be spent:

  • working through unresolved issues,
  • developing new and more effective ways of coping,
  • facilitating better communication,
  • building and strengthening relationships and support structures,
  • learning to more fully experience God’s healing presence.

Therapeutic Techniques

Our clinicians are trained in a variety of therapeutic techniques. Your presenting problems may be based on past events or require current crisis counseling. The technique we use will depend on the issue that is brought to the counseling session. Our therapists have experience in Cognitive Behavior Therapy to modify cognitions, assumptions and behaviors; Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) for trauma and abuse (read about it here); Imago Relationship Therapy for marriage therapy; and Formational Prayer for spiritual healing. If during therapy it seems as though you may need further support we will make a confidential referral to another mental health professional.

Our Fees

Fees range from $130 for an initial consult to $110 for a :50 minute session or $155 for a :75 minute session.  Most of our clinicians are on various panels including: Aetna, Anthem (Blue Cross/Blue Shield), Caresource, Cigna, Medical Mutual, Molina, OSU and Tricare.  We also work with various EAP programs and offer sliding scales when necessary, so please contact us to find out more information.
